Introduction and scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Belvien Private Limited (“Belvien”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit belvien.com (the “Website”), submit a project enquiry, email us or otherwise interact with the Website’s public features.

This Policy does not cover information handled for a client project, an employment or contractor relationship, or another service governed by a separate agreement or privacy notice.

Information we collect

Information you provide

Our project-enquiry form asks for your name, work email and message. You may also provide your company and project type. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, message, email metadata and anything else you choose to include.

Information collected automatically

When you request a page, Belvien’s hosting, content-delivery, security or infrastructure providers may create technical logs containing an IP address, date and time, requested URL, response status, browser and device information, referring page, and diagnostic or security events. This information is used to deliver, troubleshoot and protect the Website.

Cookie-choice information

If you use our cookie controls, the Website saves your selected categories, the consent version, and the dates the choice was saved and expires in your browser’s local storage.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, health information or other sensitive information through our general enquiry form or privacy inbox.

How we collect information

We collect information directly from you when you submit the enquiry form or email us, automatically from your browser when the Website is delivered, and through service providers used to host, secure and operate the Website.

A successful enquiry-form submission is sent to our server and stored in a restricted Supabase database. When email delivery is configured, Resend also sends Belvien a notification. The form is not a front-end demonstration.

How and why we use information

Depending on the interaction and applicable law, we use personal information to:

• provide, operate, maintain, troubleshoot and secure the Website;
• respond to enquiries, arrange discussions and prepare requested proposals;
• manage business relationships and keep appropriate correspondence records;
• detect abuse, fraud, malicious activity and security incidents; and
• meet legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

If we want to use information for a materially different purpose, we will provide further notice and seek consent where applicable law requires it.

Cookies and tracking technologies

Belvien does not currently place advertising or analytics cookies through the Website code. We have not integrated an advertising network, behavioural profiling tool or analytics SDK.

The Website loads font files from Google Fonts. A request to Google’s servers may disclose technical information such as your IP address, browser information and the requested resource to Google. Hosting, content-delivery or security providers may also use strictly necessary storage or similar technology to deliver and protect the Website.

If Belvien later adds non-essential analytics, personalisation or advertising technology, we will update this Policy and, where required, display a consent mechanism before those technologies are activated. You can also control browser storage through your browser settings, although blocking strictly necessary technology may affect Website operation.

Your cookie choices are stored in your browser for up to 180 days, after which the Website asks again. You can reopen the controls at any time using “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Withdrawing consent is as easy as granting it. Optional categories are disabled by default and no optional script marked for consent can run before its category is accepted.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose it only as reasonably necessary to:

• hosting, cloud, content-delivery, email, security and technical-support providers acting for us;
• professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants, auditors and insurers under appropriate duties;
• a prospective or completed buyer, investor or successor in a merger, financing, restructuring or asset transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards;
• law-enforcement, regulators, courts or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, security and integrity; or
• another party when you request or validly consent to the disclosure.

Service providers are authorised to process information only for the agreed purpose and are expected to apply appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards.

International data transfers

Some providers used for website hosting, database storage, email delivery or font delivery may process information outside India, depending on their service configuration and infrastructure. Where transfer restrictions apply, we will handle personal information in accordance with the law then in force.

Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to an enquiry, maintaining appropriate business records, securing the Website, complying with law, and resolving disputes.

The period depends on the type of record, the nature of our relationship, the sensitivity and risk of the information, operational needs, and applicable legal or limitation periods. When information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymise it, or securely isolate it where deletion is not immediately possible.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information handled. The Website’s enquiry flow includes server-side validation, restricted database access and separation of server credentials from browser code.

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. You should use an appropriate channel and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. If we become aware of a personal-data breach, we will investigate, mitigate and notify affected persons and authorities when applicable law requires it.

Your privacy rights and choices

You may ask us to provide information about, correct or delete personal information associated with your enquiry, or to address a concern about our handling of it. You can also change your Website cookie choice at any time. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where there is a lawful reason to do so.

Rights under applicable law

India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 is being brought into force in stages. Rights and obligations under that framework apply when the relevant provisions commence and to the extent they cover the processing concerned. Other rights may apply depending on where you live and the law governing the interaction.

Children’s privacy

The Website is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from a child. If you believe a child has submitted information without valid parental or guardian involvement, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Third-party websites and services

The Website code uses Supabase for enquiry storage and administrative access, Resend for configured enquiry-email notifications, and Google Fonts for font delivery. The project is configured for deployment on Vercel. Those providers handle information under their own terms and privacy notices.

The Website may also link to third-party websites or services. Their operators decide how they process personal information, and their privacy notices apply. Belvien is not responsible for their independent practices.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, providers or Website features. The revised version will display a new “Last updated” date. We will provide additional notice or request renewed consent when required by applicable law. Previous versions may be requested using the contact details below.
